CLC, Inc. Veterans Training and Employment Project (VTEP)
CLC, Inc. (Community Learning Center, Inc.) Awarded $300,000 Grant from the Fund for Veterans' Assistance of the Texas Veterans Commission to Assist Veterans and their Family Members Find and Retain Employment.
CLC, Inc., a private, non-profit organization, has been awarded $300,000 from the Texas Veterans Commission Fund for Veterans Assistance to assist veterans, their immediate family members, and surviving spouses, find and retain meaningful employment in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. The program will also offer technical skills training to 75 qualified participants in such industries as welding, machining, composite bonding, production and logistics. In addition, participants may receive academic remediation, resume assistance, interview skills training, and job placement and career advancement assistance.
Special priority will be given to identifying, assessing, and enrolling into the program: Veterans (and their family members) of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
