MSSC Certified Production Technician Training Program
The Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) Certified Production Technician (CPT) Program is designed to provide the trainee with the basic knowledge, understanding, and skills required for production work in high-performance manufacturing operations upon successful graduation from the training program. Each course delivered through the program corresponds to a major competency area. The MSSC CPT Training Program consists of four on-line MSSC courses conducted over four 40-hour weeks, with facilitation by an MSSC-Certified Instructor within an MSSC-certified training facility operated at our Berry Street facility or at our CLC, Inc. Headquarters office in Fort Worth, Texas.
All students complete the 4 on-line modules in:
- Safety
- Quality Practices & Continuous Improvement
- Manufacturing Processes & Production
- Maintenance & Awareness
The projected growth rate for Production Technicians in the manufacturing industries is 14.2%, with an average of 1,700 openings projected each year in the region due to growth and replacement.
Successful completion of the Certified Production Technician (CPT) Training Program will be as indicated by documentation that the participant passed the MSSC Safety Online Assessment, the MSSC Quality Practices and Continuous Improvement Online Assessment, the MSSC Manufacturing Processes and Production Online Assessment and the MSSC Maintenance Awareness Online Assessment.
