Success Stories

Thanks the Community Learning Center staff and especially Jenifer Lemons for all the help and support they showed me during my job search. Jenifer gave me so many leads to check that I was bound to find the right job for me and I did. I talked to her at job club and over the phone numerous times and one day she said “Go right now to Thyssen-Krup, they are hiring electricians.” So I got dressed and went. After I applied for the job, they called me in for a test which I passed and I was hired. This is an international company with the same union as Lockheed-Martin. I am very excited about this job and I know it is a very good fit for me. Now, I will be doing the work that I really enjoy!
