Program Designed to Serve:Youth Offenders, ages 17 to 21.
Program Strategy: To respond to these significant needs,
CLC,Inc. will develop an innovative, entrepreneurial, Youth Offender
Entry Services model. The model design includes a Skills Training and
Employment Track, High School Diploma, GED and Basic Skills Remediation Track for out-of-school youth and a Drop-Out-Prevention Program for in-school-youth.
The YOES program can help you with the following services:
- Basic Skills Remediation (Math and Reading)
- Technical skills training opportunities in Machining and Welding.
- During the course of the Welding Training Program students learn the basics of Layout, Fitting, Shop Tool Use, Project Fabrication, Oxy-fuel Cutting and Welding, Plasma Torch Cutting, TIG/MIG Welding, and Stick Welding.
- During the course of the Machining Training Program students learn the basics of Precisions Measurements, Manufacturing Mathematics, Engineering Drawing, Basic Computer Operations, Conventional Machining Techniques, Set Up and Programming Operations.
- Support Services
- Job Placement, Job Retention, and Post Placement Services
- Post Secondary Educational Services

Entry Requirements:
- Youth Offenders, aged 17 to 21 (except violent and sex offenders),
- Must have documented involvement in the Juvenile Justice System,
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien,
- Complete all intake/enrollment documents, and
- Agree to meet attendance and other program requirements as outlined in the intake documents.
